Steve McCoy-Thompson is co-founder and President of Community to People. He is an international economic and community development specialist who created the Micro Bridge Loan concept based on his experience working in developing countries around the world. He has helped to build and re-build communities for 20 years by working with business, national and local governments, financial institutions, community based organizations and religious institutions to leverage their collective resources for the common good. He was worked throughout the U.S. and the world with leaders in East and South Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe. Locally, he is actively involved with various community- and church-based groups and enjoys family time immensely with his wife and two children. He is also the author of three books – two for adults and one for young readers – as well as numerous articles. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University and received an MALD from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
Jim Pease is co-founder and Treasuer of Community to People. He is a certified public accountant who has worked for more than 20 years with individuals and small to medium sized businesses in Northern California. He has worked in this field for the last 21 years. In the community, he works with church-based and local groups in a broad range of activies. He is married and is enjoying the alternatively hectic and rewarding calling of raising four children. He is a graduate of St. Mary's College.
